2016 Gt Exhaust

Im Leaning on getting the Roush axle back exhaust first and then maybe add an X pipe down the line. Im concerned that it might be too loud for my taste with the x pipe. Any advice out there? It is still half the price of installing these two vs the Borla Touring cat back system.

I have that exact set up. Did the Roush Axle back first. loved it. Then did the ford X-pipe. At first I thought it was to loud and saved my resonator...After a week,, I loved it and the extra performance and sound it gave.

After a month, I then went for the SCT -x4 and did the tune, which smoothed out the engine...

When I first drove it away from the shop after installation, it sounded extremely loud and I was a bit worried. Not sure if I've just gotten used to it or what, but I actually LOVE the sound now. It's loud when you want it to be, and it's just quiet and waiting during the other times.

No regrets whatsoever. Definitely grabs the attention from everyone

Is there any drone with the Xpipe on?

Not really. You'll hear it a little bit if you're accelerating, but usually not if you're going the same speed. It's honestly not bad at all and probably what I would expect from any loud exhaust without much drone.

It's definitely not to where it gets annoying or anything while driving.

If you're interested, I can try to make a video from within the car to let you hear me cruising around. I literally look for any excuse possible to take the car out of the garage, so I'm down for it.

Before I had the Tune, I noticed Drone from 1400 to 2000 RPM. It was bearable but noticeable. When I got the Tune the Drone almost is all gone.
