2016 Gt Sync Unit Constantly Rebooting

I bought a brand new 2016 base Mustang GT in bright orange last Sunday. As soon as I left the lot I noticed the head unit which controls the radio, sync, backup camera, etc was constantly rebooting. I'd get 3 to 6 seconds of audio before the unit turned off and took 15 or so seconds to restart and the cycle would begin anew. I took it back to the dealer and they said it was an observed problem but one that Ford did not have a fix for yet. Anybody else experience this or have any ideas about it? I'm thinking I might just need to ask for my money back as I haven't had the car for even a full day yet.
