2016 V6 Battery Drain

I bought a brand new 2016 Mustang V6 last November. In June of this year I had to be out of town for a week, and when I got back the battery was dead. Took it to my local Ford dealership, and they confirmed that the battery was bad and replaced it under warranty.

However, something my Sevice Department Assistant said to me concerns me a bit. He said that on the new Stangs, there are about 8 things drawing on the battery all the time, and you can’t let them sit over 2-3 days without driving them or the battery will die. That’s the first I’ve ever heard anything like that. Is his statement accurate? I have to be gone for a week at a time several times a year - am I going to come home to a dead battery every time?

Something about that doesn’t add up, but he’s paid to know what he’s talking about. I just wanted to get your input. Thanks!
