210 degrees with aluminum heads

is 210 to hot for aluminum heads. she was staying right around 190 untill it got hot out today. now she runs about 210.

I've heard that before.....210* is alright. I think the overwhelming question is what temp should we be worried about warpage? Mine runs 210-220 all day long... In comparison, when I had my old chevy, it never broke 190.... whats the deal?.... Larry

it is all in the cooling system's capabilites, and the t- stat that is in there. Mine runs right at 200 with a 192 ford t-stat

I understand that but he was asking what was too hot? I run a 180* thermostat, 3 core radiator, and dual fans and I still run 210-220........

you should see my cooling system then.

170 t-stat, stock radiator, stock fan. im lucky to see 185 on a hot day. normal weather i see 170. once i shut the car off it goes to 190-210 and then drops back down.

im confused. my cooling system isint that capable, it doesnt seem like anyway.
