Greetings from the desert,

My son and I have decided to go with a 24" (big block) aluminum radiator for his '70 coupe. We just installed a 5.0 HO and will be running A/C. I'm guessing we're not the first guys to move to the larger type 379 radiator. Can I just buy stock big block brackets? Will they bolt into the core support that was originally in the car (car came from factory w/ 6 cyl)?

Thanks, Tom

You may need to drill holes for the lower mounts but I doubt it. The upper uses the same bolts as the hood latch.

All the holes should be there. The holes for the lower brackets are punched in place and use a large sheet metal screw with a 3/8" head to hold them in place.
