I just got some 24lb injectors off ebay the diffrence is they have metal tips instead of plastic does anyone know why or what brand these might be. They are all black with metal tips and have blue o-rings everything else seems to look like my old one exept the tips.

I am not trying to be mean, but those should have been questions asked before you purchased them - if you do not know the brand, do you even really know that they are 24# injectors?

I have bought a set of 24s and 30s for my car from Ford Motorsport and they were both color coded for each different size.

How about posting a part number for the rest of us?
Maybe a link to the specs you found?
How about a pic?

I use GM injectors in my '92. I picked them up from SLP a few years ago for $99 (for the set of 8) on a clearance/overstock sale. Mine work flawlessly the best I can tell.

I assume it looks like the one on the right?

This is what i found on it

Electronic Fuel Injector (EFI) Flow Data Table

Listed at 20.7#

If you measure resistance of the two prongs and get ~ 14.4 ohms, then it is usable on the Mustang. However upgrading from 19's to a 20# injector is a huge waste. However sold them got it totally wrong.

YES that is it on the right. I have them for sale on under chevy parts on craigslist. I also got a C&L 76mm mass air flow sensor with them. I know for a fact this is for a mustang 5.0, so I got that and the injectors for 115$ shipped still not bad. I know I should have checked them but the pic had them inside of a ford box so I just assumed the guy knew what he was talking about. Lesson learned thanks for all the info.

'Bought a 92 Bronco. 'Want to upgrade to the 4 nozzle yellow/orange injectors or a set of "4L8E-A4As". Don't have the new injectors yet. 'Know where I can get OHM ratings and connection types?
