not too sure but i may go with the S trim instead of messing with the low boost. i know i would want to run more than 5-6 later on anyways..

would 24lbers with the FMU work pretty good. at least until i get a tweecer and get some 42lbers and tune without the FMU. dont want to really step up to a 42# injector without tuning, fooling the EEC to run with a 42# injector limits spark advance since the aftermarket "calibrated" MAFs send less voltage back to the EEC or take less of an air sample. both of which cause the ECU to think the car is under less load so it doesnt get as much spark advace. with 24lbers it would do the same but not near as much as going to a 42# would i am thinking. i'd rather tune the EEC the right way when going up to a larger injector like that.

so would 24s with the FMU feed my combo (thumpers, b-cam, typhoon and bolt ons) with an S-trim making 8 lbs?? until tuning comes later

i think you will be fine. as long as the maf matches ur injectors.
i run 30lbs on my v-1 vortec at 12psi w/ a fmu on a 80mm pro-m. also just
make sure to retard timing about 6-8 btc and boost fuel pressure a little.
i'm also about to switch to 50lbs injectors controled by dioblo sport chip

I thought you had a tweecer, or was I mistaken???

If it were me...
I would get the tuner now and learn how to tune, before throwing boost pressure into the mix.
You shouldn't need the FMU.

If LOAD is pulling that much timing, you should be able to add some base timing at the distributor to make up for it.

good luck,
