Hey guys...On the verge of finally getting my CHP 393 Street Fighter. I was wondering...Will my 24 pound injectors be enough to feed that big of a motor? I'd rather stick with the ones I have than to get new ones. I want to try and keep the cobra stuff and just chip the ecu...Thanks!

NOOOOOOOO! Depending on what H/C/I you are choosing I would go with 36's or 42's.

A 30 lb/hr injector would be plenty if it is a street driven car.

I'm not sure, what are the rest of your plans? If you plan on using stock heads and upper intake, 30s would be enough I imagine. You'd probably have to shift it at 5000RPM though.

If you get some AFR185s or better, I would go up to 36#s just to be safe.

Well I believe the longblock comes with the Edelbrock Performer heads. It'll just be a street motor, with a visit to the strip every great once in a while. To go to 36's I just need a new MAF, Chip, and the Injectors right?

I would get a custom chip right when you put it in.

There is always a fuel pressure regulator, so as long as you don't buy a gigantic injector, I think you'll be fine with either a 30 or 36. Ask the guys from CHP, they'll know best.
