I was wondering how 255 on 17x9 would look on all four corners?? Is it enough tire for the rim? I like 275 but want to rotate? Pics would be good for rear 255 on 17X9 would be great!!!
A 255/45 will fill up the wheel just fine and will be a little taller than stock, 26.035" as compared to 25.6811 for the 245/45 stock size. This was also the size used on the 95 Cobra R.
A 255/40 may be a slightly tighter squeeze to fill up the wheel due to the lower aspect ratio. However, it would be shorter than stock coming in at 24.71"
My 275/40's fill up the wheel perfectly and there is a pretty small difference in width between 255 and 275. It should work out just fine either way.
255/45/ZR17 Nitto 555's at all 4 corners. 17x9 oem 95 r's. it is plenty of tire for the wheel. in all honesty, when i look at them next to my buddies car that has 17x9's with 275's, the difference isnt all that noticeable as far as width and tire height go. unless of course my eyesight is off.
