I'm getting ready to order a 255 gph Walbro for my NOS 05115 equipped 1989 LX. Can I use the stock regulator with this pump? :SNSign:

I dont see why not. The regulator is going to limit the pressure to whatever it's going to limit it to, and return the rest to the tank, I doubt adding more fuel behind it is going to affect its behavior

It will be fine but spend the extra $50 and get an adjustable regulator. I just caught the part about the nitrous. Definately get an adjustable regulator. Because the nitrous system is gonna need extra fuel. And reguardless of what size pump you have the stock regulator is only gonna let so much fuel through. You don't want to run lean.

Any recommendations for one that won't mind being spiked by my dry nitrous system?

I run a wet kit, I am not a fan of the dry kits. But the one or 2 guys I know that run dry systems just run on the rich side all the time. As far as a brand just stick with a good name brand. I have a Holley on mine.
There may be some guys on here that run dry kits that could give you some tips so maybe they will chime in.
