The sheet metal is stock,no flares. The secret is I'm running a 1977 lincoln versailles rear end which is 2 inches narrower than stock. That gives you just enough room to run a nice beefy tire.:nice:

Hello,

i´ve tested american racing tt 8.5 width and 3.75 backspace.
The wheels are 265/60 15. But my rear is a 90th 8.8, 57inch
wide. My original 9 inch was 54 1/4 inch wide.
I run a hard suspension and the space between the rim and the
fender is no problem.

Getting back to the blue fastback,do both of the wheels stick out the same amount? It seems on my car the right side sticks out more than the drivers side.Is that usual?Any ideas on moving the rear end a nudge to the left?

As i said, my rear is an 8.8. I have installed it exactly in middle. I don´t think that my 9 inch or any other rear sit not in the middle of the car.
Only with a panard bar the axle move more to one side if the is driving across a road hole. Sorry for the crapy explanation, but my english is not verry good:notnice:
