Why would you want 275's all the way around? The car would handle better and follow the road less with 245s in the front and 275s in the back.

Just my thoughts, I put 255/45s all the way around on mine. I mainly wanted to fill up the wheel wells with them, now I wish I'd gone 245 front 275 rear. Live and learn.

mine tracks a little, but not bad. Id go with the 275' all around so you can rotate them like you should!

I was thinking about the 315's in the rear too, what width rim does that require, a 10.5?

I've heard that the widest tire you can go with on a stock gt rim(17x8) is 255. You can fit up to 275, but you have overlap that can damage the tire
and the fit on the wheel is not the ideal fit. I've heard of people wrecking
tires and wheels with that wide a set-up. 255's all the way around is the way to go I'm not sure what everyone else is talking about

Yes, I've heard 255 is the safest for an 8 inch rim.
