So I've finally gotten my 4.11 Posi rear, but with my 125 shot I'm going to be hitting my redline before the traps. So I'm moving up to a 28 inch tire soon, and need to setup my rear suspension properly.

All I'm looking for at this time is a recommendation on leaf springs. I'm a budget racer, and I'm only going for high 11's. It's a Cleveland powered 70 Grande Coupe, and the only difference in weight is a 10lb nitrous bottle (Figure 25lbs) and a battery in the back. I'll be running a 275/60/15 M/T ET Street Radial and want to keep the ride looking nice, but launching better.

I searched for previous threads, but not much info on 69/70's with 28 inch tires.. so I made a new one.

I just have stock (but new) 4 leaf springs. 6 cyl w/air springs in front with sway bar removed. Caltracks and rancho adjustable rear shocks. I put the big 28 by 11.5-15 m/t e/t streets on. They will fit but I had to drill a new hole in the leaf spring plate about 1/2 back from the original to get that diameter to fit. Now it fits perfect! 11.39 with a 1.63 60 ft with a mild 2800 stall.
