If I had more space, I would have blown this car completely apart. But I don’t, so piece by piece is how I have to try to get it done.Hope your going to paint everything you can get at. Something tells me you are.
Thanks! That power steering grease, plus overspray from past paint jobs really kept it in good shape. Glad I decided to remove it.That came out awesome
Cool man! At least you already have the top side nice and new!One of these days I’ll be doing the same Dub.
Not sure, but I would imagine you can. I will be dropping the pan, cleaning and painting it, and putting in a Felpro one piece rubber gasket. This is actually next on the list.Could you take the pan off, and replace main bearings with standard size. Amateur question .
It’s just the pan gasket for now. It hasn’t given me any reason to question the bearings..... yet! That how they supposedly fix knocking new Mustangs. I would consider doing that for the price, but then you could wreck it I guess.
lol I would be saying the same as you if I was you but I think these guys are trying to tell you to at least inspect the bearings while you have gone through the ordeal of pulling the oil pan just to be safe. It’s just the pan gasket for now. I’ll definitely take a look at everything while im there. I just hope it doesn’t take a turn like everything else I do, and make the project even bigger! haha that is how things go sometimes.. more often than not for me but anyways it is worth taking a peek even if you don't have any oil pressure issues or noises.I’ll definitely take a look at everything while im there.
