2nd gear

Whats up guys?, when i shift1st gear into second, i need to use a little muscle to get it into gear. All other gears it just slips right in. Any idea why? Tranny bad, Clutch bad? any ideas?

syncros are going out.
you will need a tranny rebuild in the near future.

Try changing your fluid.

Yep. And make sure to use non-synthetic (MERCON/dexron III) ATF.

Umm, you sure about non-syth in a T-45? I thought that was only prescribed for the 3650...I may be wrong...?!?

^^ synthetic can be used in any tranny

To the poster: you can try adjusting your clutch pedal to ensure the clutch is fully engaging. First put the car in "N". Push down the clutch all the way and release. Then pull up on the clutch pedal (toward you) until it clicks. The clutch is now adjusted. You may need an aftermarket quadrant adjuster to adjust the clutch fully, as the stock quadrant sucks.

Also, is the transmission making any noises? Specifically grinding?

nope, no grinding, and its only hard to put in gear wen im rolling.. if im sittin at a light, i can put it in second no problem.

I find some times when its starts out its a little rough but then it gets better.

X2. Try adjusting the clutch first. If you have an aftermarket shifter, recheck your stops.
