Hello to alll.. here is the situation i have a 89 gt with a vortech v3 at about 5-6 psi of boost i blew a head gasket due to coolant issues about a month a go i pulled the heads they went to the machine shop for treatment and swapped the gaskets out all was good for about 3 weeks noticed coolant in oil, rough idle so again i pulled the heads
and swapped the gaskets i noticed the head gasket were in great shape(9333pt1)i installed new gaskets sat may 15th.. i changed the oil twice sun the 17th so yesterday driving to work mon 17th i have the same symptoms i started with.. in the process of elimination i called arp to confirm my torque specs and i was informed TEFLON TAPE IS NOT A PROPER SEALANT FOR LOWER HEAD BOLTS
so... with all that being said my question is the new head gasket is a day old but my coolant has contaminated my oil would i be able to pull the lower bolts one at a time properly seal them and re torque them or am i pulling the heads again? thanks for any insight....
