this is now my 2nd post on here. i have the same thing in talk but i think it may be the wrong place for this... not sure if im in the right spot. anyways, i just installed my 1 5/8 BBK LTs and OR xpipe, replacing - stock headers, gutted cat's,- still have my 2 1'2" dynomax cat back (not sure what muffler type but it's all dynomax). I have heard a lot of stangs with lt's and mine sounds weak!!!! i think it is quieter than before, and did not feel any notice in power... what could be up? thx. also how do i get a pic of my car beside my name like u all?

I noticed when I went from stock headers to aftermarket ones my car was actually quieter around 2000rpms. I think with your exhaust fumes flowing free-er and smoother, there is less resonance bouncing of the inside of your exhaust and crimped stock headers. Does that makes sense? Trust me, your long tubes are better than the stockers.

Your picture, go up to the top where it says "user CP", you will see an option that says "avatar", go into that and you can upload a pic from your computer. You are limited on size however.

on a stock motor you probally lost some low end power, i know i did. to me, it seems like i can hear the engine, itself, alot more than i could with shorties. but i'll never go back to shorties, just because its alot easier to remove the mid-pipe.
