I put my short block together and did the timing chains, i lined everything up properly and the marks were just like the ford diagram showed. Is it safe to assume if the motor spins freely 5 or 6 revolutions that it is 100% correct?

I want to say that it takes 90 spins for the marks to line back up!

If it's spinning freely, you're probably OK, at least as far as valves smacking pistons go.
