I just got my car back from getting 3.73 FR gears and all new bearings. I think it is a great improvment over the 3.08 I had before. No more downshifting on freeway, Very noticeable harder acceleration, And definitly worth it. I payed $50 for a set of lightly used Ford Racing 3.73's, $70 for a rebuild kit, $20 for wheel bearings, $15 for Lucas oil & friction modifier, and $150 for the complete install equals $305 For a complete set up, Not bad! I was coming back from picking up the car and a green 94/95 5.0 pulls beside me in second gear, We bolth gunned it and I ended up about 3 - 4 cars ahead of him instantly.
