3.73 gears installed, now odometer won't work

I got some 3.73 gears installed in my 95 GT this past week and just noticed my odometer isn't working. Is there a connection in the rear they maybe forgot to hook up or is it coincidental the odometer gear behind the dash went out at the same time?

It could be the sending unit or the gear is worn out.


What did you use to calibrate the speedo, Gear or speedcal?

It mayjust be coincidence that you odometer quit at the same time.

Thanks guys. I used a speedcal to calibrate the speedometer, but I noticed the odometer not working before I installed the speedcal.

coincidence....


unlessss they somehow broke your speedo gear....but then your speedo wouldn't be working.
