Got my 3:73's in Friday and put about 200 easy miles on it.
I just came in from the country and I got to say"For an auto this car runs like a scalded dog".
I was impressed with the performance and shifting. It barks hard into second and chirps into third.

Did you install yourself or did you have a technician do it?

I have a 5spd I'm going to do gear next year sometime but the car needs them, I kept bogging out of the whole at track today. I'm glad the gears worked for you, good luck with her!!!

Generally 2 steps up like that 3:31 -> 3:55 -> 3:73 make a difference. Hence why manual owners of 05 and 06 GT's with the default 3:55 gears usually look at no less than 4:10 as that onestep up isn't worth the money (usually).

kmad61, glad to hear that you made out OK. I'm thinking of doing that same swap for my auto GT. What did you do about your speedo? Did you get it reset through a tuner?

Yes a Diablo or Xcal2 will correct it. I have a Diablo tuner with 3 tunes for a 2005 or 2006 available for $225 + shipping... can be reprogrammed with custom tunes - smkngun01@yahoo.com I'm in your neighborhood if interested

After installing a Spidershaft driveline today I would highly recommend it
BIG differance, makes the car more responsive, rpm's come up fast!!
