3.73s vs 4.10s

The infamous question. This has been covered a million times. The only other topic more popular is "Which exhaust sounds better?" (Go to www.mustangexhaust.com) But I see you're new around here, so pardon my whine and here's my 2 cents...
My personal preference for a daily driver that does not see regular 1320 blasts are 3.73s. My wife's has 4.10s and, to me, they are a bit tall for a daily driver. 1st gear is almost unnecessary. But I'm sure many here will counter this thought with the "don't fear the gear" mentality. To each his own...
Welcome to StangNet!!!

I agree 100%!

It is a personal thing and you have to decide how you will use the car. My stang is a third car...does not see road trips...a weekend warrior. 4.10's are fine for me. But to be honest, I love them on the highway.

If you are going to add a blower, you should stick with 3.73s.

Depends on what you want and how you drive. I love my 4.10's, yet I also like my buddy's car that has 3.73's. 4.10's for drag racing definately. 3.73's for a lot of driving and not really much track use, or if you can't handle the slightly higher RPMS or shifting requirements of the 4.10's. I cruise 30 in 4th, hell 5th works too. I turn like 2750 or something at 70 MPH in 5th(nice for passing without downshifting)
