3" and 3.5" tail pipe pics

3.5 would be too big and most likely look funny

I totally agree. I like the look and sound from the 2.25-2.5 diameter exhaust.
Maybe a 3 inch is ok as long as it's not going from a 2.5" to 3" where it's visable at the rear. Like this one

To each's own. Some like it. I just don't, I would rather see a side exhaust then these. Just my opinion. "Deal with it"

mac pipes fit mac systems...they are the only ones whose tailpipes bolt together on the back side of the axle...no mixing and matching, unless you cut and weld...

not sure if it matters but my 89 GT has BBK headers and H pipe and my mac cat back bolted right up

iv also been told that if i have a older mac system thats two piece the LX tails wont work..i have to have the newer 3 piece system? but i looked at pics and the tails look like they bolt up the same? only difference is the flow tubes disconnect from the mufflers on the new systems

also i dont wanna go smaller then 3" cause my whole exhaust is 3" and i dont want to narrow it at the end...it seems like i seen a really nice white fox GT with drag lite wheels that had 3.5 tips with a cobra bumper that looked nice?

any cat back will bolt up fine to the H pipe, its just that no other company makes their systems the way mac does in regards to the tailpipe configuration/assembly...so you couldnt get pipes from another manufacturer to properly fit your mac system...mac does make 3.5" tails which i think are too big, but i think that the style of the cobra bumper would work with the 3.5's far better than the LX body does...go to MAC's website and send them an email asking about it, they are good about getting back to you

the tail pipes they sell seperatly on there site you can only get them in 2.5 with 3.5 tips....id like to get the 3" with 3 or 3.5 tips...but might have to settle for the 2.5 with 3.5 tips and try to make it work..i dought having full 3" exhaust and then 2.5 tail right at the end will effect performace at all
