3 inch exhaust????

I have a 92 gt with a t -trim, and a whole bunch of other mods, it is making 602 rwhp with an lentech aode. I still have a 2.5 exhaust. Would I see alot more power with a 3 inch exhaust??? and would i NEED TO GET IT RETUNED??

Considering most NA 347's pick up considerably with 3" exhaust I'd certainly think you'd stand to pick up a lot. That's a lot of power you have. As far as the tune, throw a wideband on and see. I think you'll pick up quite a bit.

I think in your case you might pick up a few HP, but I don't think it will throw off your tune enough to matter.

Check with a wideband like AaronC mentioned to know for sure.

I upgraded to 3", but have yet to put the motor in. YSIGONZO on corral.net made over 800 rwhp with 1 5/8" primaries and 2 1/2" exhaust.. Go figure..

What size are your headers, shorty or long? That will effect how much you pick up with the 3"....
