has anyone did a 3 valve swap on a 99+ gt yet

I've heard that the Head surfaces wont mate up with the 2valve block.

is it possible to do a 4v swap on a 04 gt? how hard and what parts would i need? also where is a good website to buy kenne bell blower?

Well as the name "modular" implies, they will physically boltup to our blocks, but we have to do some modifications to our oil system I believe, something to d with a plate....and then W/O the 05s EEC we wont have the VVT, for whatever thats worth. It would be better to go 4V if your going through the hassle. Better flow, better mixture=better performance.

It is worthless to but a KB, 4valve heads on a STOCK GT block. Just but a Forged shortblock.

I am sure someone will try it but I can't see the point of it. Same if not more hassel than a 4v swap and make less power.

I mean ported 2v heads can flow as much as the stock 3v. so with the hassel of the swap I don't see why.

how much do the 3v heads sell for?

its not only that. remember that the 3 valve heads have variable timing cams in them also. so the easy route would be just throw in the 05 motor in the car with wiring also.

i wouldnt ever do it but i was just wondering, and i wouldnt do a 4 valve headswap, im damn proud of my 2 valve
