Not even close! I can raise it all the way up with no trouble at all. Everyone at first thinks it must block your view, but I let them sit in it and they see that there is no problem.
That hood is crazy. I have those same Weld wheels on my Mustang. Did you have the same problem with those *ssh*les that I did? Had to wait months for spacers to get the rear ones to clear the brakes because they cocked them up. Still, I love the fact you can clean the whole wheel rim, inside and out, without taking the wheeels off.
Even with the 315's I did not have any trouble and I do not have spacers on mine, seems to me that I read somewhere that the first couple of batches were built with the wrong offset. By the way did you know Weld is going through bankrupcy right now (I know because I am a Weld dealer).
I have a couple of offers for sponsership and will be putting a twin turbo set up on it. If I have my way it will be a twin turbo 5.4 with six speed. This year I have built 3 show cars for people and they are racking up the trophies in Alabama, Georgia and Florida, this sucks becuase I want to be the one getting the show wins .
I know that on some of the cars (not just Mustangs) that I have built for other people that has happened, with the cheaper hoods especially. I really can't say it enough, spend the extra money and get a Cervinis, your body / paint person will love you for it!!!!

Yep, mine was the first batch. I was lucky as I happened to bolt the back wheels on so that they clamped the rear brakes solid. The car wouldn't move. If I'd bolted them up with the spokes either side of the calipers and driven it, it would have ripped the brakes off or wrecked the car. I got very little help and the spacers turned up after 7 months. So if they're going bankrupt, I can only say I'm not surprised. It was also annoying that none of the big brake kits fit inside these wheels. Just a lazy design really. Shame becuase I love the wheels.
