The 302 cam will work in a 351W with no problem's. You just have to run a 302 Firing order instead of the 351W firing order.

actually if i remember correctly the F303 has a 351W firing order just make sure that you have roller lifters in the 351 because the f 303 is a roller cam i hope this helps

the cam determines the firing order, not the crank. why would the f cam have a 351 firing order when its in a 302? in that case i am wrong when i said it would fit cause i thought 351 had the same order. but don't 351's have the same firing order as a 82 or later 302?

Yes it will work and yes the 302 HO and the 351W have the same firing order so just plug it in and have fun.

in 93-94 is when ford put out the rollor block that had the spyder bolt down holes tapped for threads. the earlier 351w blocks had a smaller base circle cam and needed a retrofit cam package to work right or something. the rollor ready blocks had a f4te casting number by the starter on the block.

the rollor 302 has the same firing order as the 351.
