302 Engine Block Q's

I found a used 302 block recently that I got around to cleaning and inspecting today. On both sides, there is cracks in the head mounting surface that run from what looks like the water jacket to the cylinder bore. Are these something that can be fixed, or is this block a 140 pound paperweight?

Nah man...that block is hoooosed. I got two good blocks layin around, you wouldnt be anywhere near the middle TN area would ya???

Post up pictures... that is an uncommon area to crack.
