what is the weight of complete roller 302 motor (pan/intake). My engine stand is setup for up too 750 lbs. I will be taking it apart but want to hang compete block to do it. It is not in the car but sitting on a crate so i want to hang it to be able to move around in my shop. I searched and did not come up with anything

the motors weigh something like 350lbs

My long block was heavy enough that me and my friend were able to lift it..Aluminum heads tho. I would say around 350-400 lbs without any front assembly?

460 lbs.!!!! You will have no problem; just don't flip the engine upside down with the heads on.

I think the older 289/302 weighed around 450-500 lbs (cast iron heads, intake, exhaust manifolds) depending on who you ask. So you good to go with any of the small block Fords.
