306 headgaskets

Will ordinary head-gaskets meant for a 302 work on a 306? Just wondering considering the 306 is a .30 over bore amd didnt know if 302's will work.

It is actually .030, not .30, and yes the stock gaskets will work.

The only blocks I ever heard of taking a 1/4" or more overbore were the 1950's Packard V8's. I suspect that you are not old enough to remember Packard, so that isn't revelant...
