306 solid roller motor, how would you build it?

well i already have the 185s so id rather just make due with what i have.... thats the reason im using them!

What are the flow #s like on the 185s? I'm not too up on the AFR stuff.

dont get me wrong, the afr 185 is a great head and will MORE than get the job done. I was just stating there are better head (some people think afrs are gods gift to small blocks ) You will be more than happy with the performance. I wish i could afford a set for my 331 i would prob pick up half a second on my all motor time with a pair!

advertised at 600 lift is 277 intake, 191 exhaust

whereas the 205s flow 306/231 at .600

That's impressive for the 205s. My 215 cc Canfields fully ported are 308/264 @.600
