Just had my car dyno tuned and this is what it's putting out. I am happy but would like to find an extra 10 horse at the wheels yet. What do you think will get it done? Maybe a little port work on the heads? This was the last run on the dyno and everything was heat soaked/ electric fan was running so there may be more already there under the right conditions. It had about 10 runs on it and 2 hours of on and off running. Sorry for the crummy pic. I need to get a scanner!!

Nice numbers, that graph had me all confused for a second, any reason why they have the scales for torque/hp not in line with each other?

What were the base specs @.050 on Ed's cam? Just curious

nice

There is probably 10 extra HP with just going to dyno on different conditions...

Why don't the HP and Torque cross each other at 5252 RPMs like they are supposed to?

they do, the torque curve is just shifted down, both values on either side of the graph (HP/TQ) do not correspond with each other, if you shift the whole toque curve up they will cross at 5250

my 306 combo almost the same as yours did 334.6 at the wheels after icing the intake and running a large cooling fan in front during the pass.

Thanks guys. I'm not sure why the graph is different from one side to the next. It messes me up looking at it also. It was goofy tuning it. I originally had a chip done by JMS to fix the idle surge at start-up and for max power, but it was mail order. I took it to this place to get it fine tuned because I thought there was some left in it. The air/fuel ratio was too lean at first. We dropped it down to a perfect 13.0 . We even went further towards 12.5 but gain no more power. We were hesitant to play with the timing because we have no idea how much JMS already has added. The distributor is at 10*. We added another 3* across the board and picked up a few horsepower but didn't want to take it any further. It would be nice to know what JMS did with the chip. We just fine tuned the JMS burn. Is there a way to check how much advance there is on the chip by checking it out at the dampener? We couldn't tell what JMS did, just add or subtract from it.

Very nice numbers. If you port your lower you might be able to pick up some HP.

Actually TMoss just ported it before the dyno runs. Between the intake and electric fan, it felt stronger for sure. Thats why it's hard to pick up any extra power. Everything is pretty good as it stands. 75mm T-body? RPM upper intake? I don't know what it'll take to add another 10 horse or so to the wheels without major work. Like I say, the car was on the rollers for 2 hours and had about 10 runs on it. This was the last run and she was good and warm. Letting it cool would have helped but I like to run it in real world conditions to see what it'll do on the street in normal driving situations. I can't ice my intake between stop lights.
