Went with AFS Chrome Cobras. Couldn't be happier with the results.

are you the guy who swapped his auto for a manual? was that done in the newer gt or the fox body? i am just wondering because i heard something about that and want to know if it's possible to do on my 01 without too much pain.

Yeah tarch that was me but it was in the older 89GT that I did the trans swap. That would be a big job to do to your 01 but not impossible. I wouldn't do it. I would b uy another car first when it became finacially viable.


Tyler the fronts are stock 245 goodyears which I don't like but I am stuck using them for now just due to funds. They are too small for a 9inch wheel and look stretched out.

The rears are Yokohama AVS sports that my local discount had stuck in the back that someone order but changed their mind on. They had been sitting for a long time so they gave me a screamin deal on them. 550 out the door with warranty instead of 700. Very expensive tires.

Yeah Matt over at discount hooked me up pretty good for the truck. I hope to get a better deal when I drive in with the MG as it will be a second full set I buy from him... or maybe 3rd if the burban needs them sooner...

is it just me or can you put 315's on a 9" wide rim, or is 275 about the widest? I could have sworn I've seen stock 03 17x9 rims with 315's, but then again I thought that was alittle wide for that rim.

Once and only once I saw a Nitto DR 315(runs small) on a 9" rim. It didn't look right.

You will never get a real 315 on a 9" rim.
