For a Fox you would be better off starting with a Teksid block. The Teksid would save 78lbs on the nose so the car would still handle well.03-04 terminator motor

The 93-98 Mark VIII engines were basicly the same. 93-96 had two coils and the 97-98s had COP and a faster computer thats easier to tune. You will need the Lincolns computer and wire harness. There is alot of stuff you wont use and if you can get a computer from a 96-98 Mustang youd save alot of wireing but lose the IMRCs which really dont matter cause if you are gonna hot rod a 4.6 DOHC you will want the IMRC delete kit.
If you are gonna source the computer/wires from a Stang youd be better off with a 93-96 Mark engine because if you go 97-98 Mark engine it will have COP valve covers and you will need the older style so you can run the two coil packs instead.

I see these motors all over the junkyards, I feel bad when I see one of those engines rotting away. I'm trying to convince my buddy to get a Teskid block to build up for his turbo PI SOHC motor thats going to blow sooner or later. lol

Anyway, you can just run a SOHC computer just fine. The only difference between the two are the IMRC controlling ability. Other then that they have the same wires. There is a guy in 4.6 Talk that just dropped a Mark VIII engine into his 96 GT and used the stock ECU. His car is turbo charged too
