Will they fit on the rear of a S197? What is the widest rear you can fit on one for a 20" rim size? Rim would be a 20x10.5.
This is a curiosity question and would be on a GT500.

Any pictures of big ass 19" or 20" wide width rears would be cool too.

Holy craaaahhhaaaapppp dude!

They did rears that big on the special edition Military Mustang a few weeks ago.

They had to put a wide body kit on it for it to not look stupid haha!

Realistic size then. The GT500 (2010) has 285/35/19s right? It cant put the power down at that size and the 19s look small on the car. So to step up to a 20" wheel is a 305/30 about the limit?

i had a 325 for a while, looked awesome.

i think its really the rims that make the tire look good or not. if the wheels stick out, the tires going to stick out, and its not going to look too good. View attachment 252765

Those look like slicks to me hahah!

I think it's okay for the rim/tire to stick out a little, but that (above) is too much.

its not that bad on level ground, my street is very convex on both sides.

and nah, they are 325/50/15 nitto drag radials. 555rs.

i plan on swapping them out to M&H racemaster drag radials, m&h run skinny, so a 325 will probably be pretty similar foot print to a 305 or 295 even.

if they hook good enough i'll go with a 26 inch tire, and be able to pull some decent 60 fts without bogging.

So it looks like 305/35 in DRs or 305/30 in Michelins are as big as can get in 20" wheels on here then huh?

The 2010 looks a bit lower and the 20" wheels/tires will fillthe well enough to only need a 1" drop. They make them that small?
