347, Aluminum Heads,Stock Intake.?

In my opinion...
Only spend the money once, which means do it right the first time.

Running the stock intake will kill performance, but it will give you a chance to run the car.
There are few things more frustrating that looking at your car parked for several months while you scrape together cash for the last few parts.
At least you'll get to run it... :nice:

If it were me...
I wouldn't even consider buying an intake that didn't fit the long term goals.

good luck either way,
jason

i agree with vristang. go on corral.net and also look on the classifieds here on stangnet. i wouldnt buy anything except the one you want and that would be a trick flow (if it were me).you can go to the scrap yards and look for explorer intakes but still will hold back the power but cheaper then spending a few hundred and will be better then a stock one.ya shoulda came to the swap meet this weekend at PIR/expo there was a nice set up there! If you be paitient you can find deals out there! i bought my accufab 90MM T.B off corral for $100 looked brand new but no luck on my intake it was $700  peace

Lets save the sales offers for the Classifieds, or at least keep them confined to PM's if you please. :)

...and the answer to your question. Yes, it will run just fine. You'll never see the true benefit of the heads while running the stock intake, but as far as drivability issues, there won't be any. Not to mention an intake swap isn't a big deal, so adding one later on down the road is always an easy option.
