Tax time is here and Im going to build a 347. Would it be better to buy a short block from DSS, Coast or from some place like that or would it be better to build it my self? Now granted I have never took on anything like this before but have done all of my bolt on's with now problem. One other thing what H/C/I would be best for a street strip car "mostly street" I was thinking Vic Jr's and was not sure on the rest.

Everyone is going to have their own opinion, I have had people tell me DSS is crap. I have been running the hell out of my DSS 347 super pro bullit for three years and have had no problems out of it. It has made more 7sec 1/8 mile passes and burned more 10lb n2o bottles than I can count.

I forgot about him. In April/May of last year I did about doing a 306 but all that fell through when I moved because I used up all of my expendable cash in the move. Thanks for reminding me though.
