Summit
Stroker Kit $1,300.00
TFS Twisted Aluminum Heads $1,095.00
TFS TrickFlow R Manifold $499.00
TFS Cam $150.00
255lb Fuel Pump $120.00
30lb fuel injectors $220.00
bbk 75 mm throttle body $200.00

I should be able to put out 350-400 HP with this setup and a good tune. Am I forgetting anything? Do I need anything special since it is a 94-95 setup?

Thanks!

Sounds like a pretty health combo dont forget a mass air meter calibrated for your #30's .Allso if you wanna reuse your hamonic balancer & flywheel the motor will need to be balanced at 50 oz

Sounds good! People are making close to 300rwhp with a trick flow combo and a stock 302 block so I think the extra 45ci will be at least 350rwhp WITH A GOOD TUNE I just have a question as to a stroker kit? What kind of engine work are you gonna do (or have done) to the block itself? In other words, what has to be done to the rest of the motor after you buy a storker kit?

My 347 shortblock is going to be finished tom. From what my machinest told me all he had to do was bore the block notch the piston scurts for rod clearence & all the other prep work that goes with a rebuild

that engine will be pretty strong, as that a stock engine like said above puts down 300 hp, but when you factor in teh high compression, plus the stroker kit, you are correct on about possibly 350-400 rwp. Now, dont forget gaskets, and also i think the trickflow heads require longer pushrods. Also, really should get a new timing chain setup, and oil pump for insurance. Also you will want roller rockers cause you have stud heads on that.

2 things i'd change. The cam and get the track heat heads instead of the reg TW heads. You'll NEED the better springs for the cam. If you can swing (have the time to wait) for a good custom cam, it'll make a huge difference in the combo, trust me. If you dont have the time to wait, i'd get yourself a comp xe282 cam. You will also NEED 1 3/4" longtubes.

One more thing, what stroker kit are you buying from summit? They can be had for cheaper and most likely, better quality. I personally will be using the CHP kit. Comes with a cast crank (forged is over rated, too much $ and over kill for stock block combo's and its also heavier) 5.315" forged h beam rods(arp rod bolts), forged probe pistons, rings and bearings.. I believe they have a kit that is 10.7:1 with a 58cc head. I'd use that. Have fun and good luck with the combo.
