347 Crate Engine Question

I have a 73 convertible that we are beginning to restore. I do not have the time to rebuild the original 302, so I am considering buying a 347 crate engine with 425 hp.....has anybody ever made the swap before? I have concerns about the amount of hp in my car and also whether the 347 will mount on the same mounts as the 302.

347 is basically a stroked out 302. Will fit where 302 was. Just replaced my 302 with a built 347. Need to look at the full package though. Will need to put stronger trans, higher torque converter, smaller rear end gears (preferably with track locks). Should put frame rail connectors and upgrade to disk front brakes if not already done. Finally will probably need to beef up cooling system including external trans cooler.
