soon to be building my 347 stroker, and thought of something i heard once do i have to grind any clearances for the throw of that crank in my engine block? has anyone come across this while building your motor and checking for clearance just wondering whether to expect this before i assemble everything. thanks for any replies

Yes the bottom of the cylinder bores will need to be clearance so that the rod bolt clears. Minimum clearance should be .060" I prefer .080" to .100". You will need to mock up the crank and one rod to see where the notchs fall, do all of the grinding before it goes the machine shop for boring etc...
