Hey guys, I am thinking of getting a shortblock in the very near future, what would you guys do a 347 or a 306, the engine will have afr165's intake and a novi 1000, also what are the pros and cons of each including milage on the highway or just regular driving.
If you have the money, go 347, but you can still make gobs of power with a 306 ans save money. If you decide 347, I would say AFR 185's would probally match better.
a 347 will have more wear as well, due to the more extreme angle of the rod, just something else to think about if you plan on putting lots of miles on it.
