@revhead347 @2000xp8 @A5literMan This guy left me a message about this motor for sale. While the parts sound good, he is stating 500 Flywheel HP and its still DD-able. Any input?

this all depends on how good your tunner is and what parts you put in motor.

Boss Block? Camshaft figures? Is it capable of 500hp...yup. Also tfs stage 3? Who did them? 85rkyboby I personally don't like the boss blocks compared to a a Dart block but definetly better than stock. Also I would never buy a used engine without being able to check it out in person. No offense meant to the seller...just saying.

Looks like a great setup. As long as the heads were done by a reputable company and the assembly of the shortblock was done by a professional.
If the engine was built by a homeowner, i'd factor in some money to have it checked out.

Daily drivable? I probably would have 20 years ago, but that's not to say you won't have your days when weather isn't so great and the car is a handful. If it rains you may want to bring spare underwear.

hahaha, yes this was done by a professional. The only reason I am selling this is i came up on a coyote motor. Agree on the weather, do not drive in rain. This motor will last a long time if someone is not abusing the limits of the motor ( just like any motor).

sorry just re read my reply. I was laughing at your comment not as if it was done by a professional. Again sorry if anyone took that the wrong way.

I see it has an EFI intake, I'm assuming the timing cover doesn't have the mechanical fuel pump provision?

Sounds like a great motor, but since you're so far away I don't see how we could make this work. Thanks for reaching out. GLWS!

You really ought to re plumb it for an electric fuel pump with that kind of power anyway. It would be better and more stable. Do you happen to know which Trick Flow Heads they are? Are those 11Rs or like an older 205cc?

I disagree with the statement that only professionals can assemble an engine. Assembly really isn't that hard, just follow the manual. It's better to have a professional check all the tollerances, but anyone can do that with a good read.

I agree on electrical fuel pump if drag racing. I built this motor for road course. In my opinion i have not had the best luck with electrical fuel pump off-roading or on road race cars.

Engine Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
