3500 stall converter

Hi guys, just got a question. I'm looking to buy an 83 mustang and the guy says it's got a c-4 full manual with a 3500rpm converter, 8.8 rear end with 4.10 gears.
The car is about 1 1/2 hours away and I'm wondering if I can drive it back or do I need to get a trailer. Dont have any experience with the high stall converters, all my mustangs have been sticks.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks for any advice.

it should not be a problem but i would take a trailer and try to drive the car back

my 91 has a tremec auto with 3500 and 410's. I drive it on the street more than the track. Just take some gas money, and (If you're like me) speeding ticket money since mine is bolted up to a 351.

Should not be a problem. Most converters do not hit the advertised stall speed unless it's on a trans brake. But yea, gas $

got a 3000 on the big block and C6 combo, drives fine on the street and highway. Gas mileage however is a different story...
