are absolute a-holes. talk about pretentious pricks these guys take the cake. in a couple months im looking to pick up a used z for my daily driver to replace the 01 v6. so i find this website called my350z.com some guys are looking to get financed and theyre having trouble and all the members right away start ripping on the poor guy telling him to "buy a civic" look at another car you cant afford it, its too much car for you. blah blah "i make 10k a month, i paid for my Z cash." when i do get my Z i am definately just leaving it stock and will not be visiting/joining any of these Z webforums. sorry about the rant, but i mean seeing this really made me appreciate stangnet and the attitudes of the 5.0 crowd. alot of those jerks aren't real car enthusiasts just a bunch of j-offs.

STANGNET FTW

Actually, just a bunch of j-offs with too much damn money. Those cars are way to expensive for what they are brand new. Wouldn't mind having one for a dd my self but for the damn insurance, I might as well driver a vette.

Your right, makes you like stangnet even more though. Always someone willing to help and lend some experience.

+100000000000!!!!!

for me, its not even just about the car. i love my car, but just as much, i love the fact that there are HUNDREDS of people on here every night, willing and able to give great answers about anything you could ever possibly encounter with these cars. real people, that have actually invested more than just money into their rides. how many can do their own work on a rotary??? i guarantee that there is no other car in history that has the kind of support the fox 5.0 does. i'll be the first to admit, and i'm sure most agree that most new sports cars beat a fox in almost every category, but it doesnt matter. i dont plan on ever selling my fox. it's a part of my life. love everything about it. i know new cars are kicking its ass, but i dont even care.

If they were so cool and made so much money they would of realized the Z was not that great looking and spent the extra dough for that sweet ass Infiniti version now that gets it.

I agree w/the Infiniti quote

I've wandered over to G35driver.com for some info and the people there were nice. Haven't spent but 20 minutes there total though.

You mean the "Nissan Thirty-Five Ounce?"

Seriously, I had a customer at Checker Auto once refer to is Datsun 280z as a "Datsun Twenty-Eight Ounce" because he thought the zero was an "o." So, I guess that means the new ones are 35-ouncers because all new cars weigh more...

...or "35 ounce" refers to the amount of cannabis you have to smoke before thinking those are the most awesome cars on the road.

350Z = 3.5L engine (VQ35DE)
300ZX = 3.0L turbocharged engine (VG30DETT)
280Z = 2.8L engine (L28DET?)

I love the G37S. None of the stock 350Z's are even close to it.

Edit: Almost forgot...imports are gooder

It's not just car sites, but other forums suck compared to stangnet.

I play paintball, so i'm on some forums. God forbid you ask a question abour your marker because 10 people will jump on you for not knowing the answer and tell you to search back on the forums (no search feature)

I've asked questions requiring a simple 1-sentence reply only to have 3-4 a-holes spend the time to write 2 paragraphs to me about how i'm an idiot and should spend the time searching back 3-4 pages for a vaguely similar thread.

Stangnet is the best forum i'm on....for anything

Let them know that in the 2 seater convertible sports car class, the 350z got is azz spanked by the turbo pontiac solistace for 10 grand less.
No offense to the OP, but a 350z is a car for non auto enthusiasts.
Even the new nismo is a POS.

Yeah, it's a bit ironic. On various other message boards, everyone who doesn't own a Mustang pretty much seems to hate them because "Mustang owners are all ass holes." Every time I hear this I just scratch my head... I really don't see it. If anything, I think we're one of the most open-minded niche-enthusiast communities out there. Granted, I've met some jerks in here, but there's over 100,000 members. WTF do you expect? Then you go to some import related board and find they're almost all jerks... I just don't get it.

I jumped on a maxima forum last week and didn't even post... After I read their arrogant little "Noobs" section where they expected everyone to read 55 f'n pages before asking a question and get this...

It said "Double questions = Banned"

Dorks.

I love :SNSign:

I made some new friends at my new job a couple days ago. One of the guys drives an Acura RSX that is supercharged tuned with Hondata, etc. It is pretty nasty. He said I was the coolest domestic driver, he said I was the only one he ever talked to that liked imports. BTW his car made 286 to the wheels... that is pretty respectable for a 4 banger.
