I am planning on running this cam in a 347 stroker for a Cobra kit car. It specifies a 351W but I have read cams will interchange without problems. I am concerned about the distributor. Mallory stated the gears were the same size but Edelbrock told me I needed to run a 351W dizzy. But the oil pump shafts are different sizes. I am getting so many answers I am confused what is absolute correct.

PLEASE HELP direct me.

correct.....302 dizzy in a 302 block....351 dizzy in a 351 block. Same with oil pump d/s. Ur 351 cam will work in a 347 but make sure ur heads can support the extra air. Thats a bigger cam than what my 351 uses and its pretty nasty.
