I know there was a sticky a long time ago, but it seems to have disappeared. Right now, I have the opportunity to buy this 351 from a friend of mine who is in need of cash. He built this for his late 90's Fox. He got a 351 from a 96 Van pulled it apart, saw everything looked good, put it back together. He says right now as it sits, it should be at 9:1 compression. He wants 1600.00 for this and it is sitting on an engine stand ready to be sold. Everything on here is made for the swap. The only thing I will need is a new belt, a steering shaft and that's pretty much it. Can you guys go over this list and tell me what you think? I know I will need a hood for sure. But that's the least of my worries.
The 351 has a fair amount of stuff done to it... and it is a 1996 roller cam motor with 81,XXX miles on it.
