does anyone know what the power differences would be between a 351 windsor head on my stock 302 block vs the stock heads. I have a full exhaust BBK long tubes, catted x and an SLP cat back. I dynoed my car with this setup before I took the engine apart and noticed all the carbon buildup on the pistons. Well anyway my dyno numbers were 200 and 270 at the wheels. what kind of power would I get from the 351 heads

I actually never dynoed my car but plan on soon,I have the 351 heads on my car. I'm very pleased w/ the performance. The runners are bigger on the 351 and so are the valves. not much work to go ahead and install the 2.02 in. and 1.60 ex.

Some of the older 351 heads had very large chambers which just killed your compression.

Just a heads up for you.

Skip the 351 heads. If you're on a budget, get some GT40P heads, or if you have lots of green, get some Alum heads.
