just put 351 in my 76 coupe need to know what headers to use .I have the bigger 164 tooth bell housing. I see swap headers in summit. I know other people have done this . wanted to hear what works and what dont
Hooker Super Comp Pinto swap headers will work, but you need to swap to manual brakes. 2 primaries on each side go around the outside of the frame rail, so you will need to cut your inner fenders. I think Heddman makes some, but they're a real pain in the ass from what I've heard. The other option is custom headers.
I was looking at the hookers , and I dont mind cutting or going manual on the brakes power brakes wont work that great with a .574 lift cam anyway i dont think.
