You can not use the 302 ac bracket on the 351. it will not work. you need a 351 bracket from junk yard or summit. the 302 headers wont work on a 351 because of the deck height difference between the two motors. they will bolt up but your h pipe will not reach them. the swap is a piece of cake...

John,
What part of Washington are you in? Interested in meeting up?

Here is some info on the bracket you will need to run the 5.0 accessories...
VRIstang
AC/PS-
This is the only stock 5.0 accessory bracket that requires modification. The original AC pump and Power Steering pump can be reused if an FRPP bracket is used. If using Power Steering only (without A/C), the FRPP part number is M-8511-A351. For both AC and PS applications the FRPP number is M-8511-B351.

John, you can do that but it will be a bear to turn....unless you have gorrilla arms! Power and manual racks arent even close to the same as far as trying to turn them with out power. I wouldnt guess its not good on the rack either.

well most peoples kids have bigger arms then me .........so yeah no grilla arms here. Ok i'll do more research on the rack dealio.as far as tge headers not going to the mid pipe no big deal i'm a welder fabricator so i'll try my 302 mac L/T's then if needed i'll splice in some pipe to my pro chamber then weld it up. I did find some MAC l/t swap 351 headers but if i can make it work and something like that isnt a big deal. Unlike the stupid adapter they make to put a 5.0 intake on a 351w. peace

Im on the same boat as you, I'm doing the same swap and after reading tonss of different swap articles on one I've heard you can use the stock 302 p/s and a/c bracket but need to use some washers or spacers. Since the only difference I see is the deckheight and the heads are the same (head bracket holes) maybe all you need to do is drill new holes in the bracket? nay or yay? anybody got some info on this?
