What year did the 351 windsor have a roller cam? I have heard that the trucks also had the roller block, but no roller cam. The reason I ask is, I came across a 95 police car with a complete 5.8 in it and was wondering if this engine is a roller block, and is it worth buying to rebuild. The price is 200.00 plus I have to pull it.
Thanks, Rick

The roller block's casting # is F4TE. I'm about 90% certain my 95 E150 van has a roller cam in it's roller block. I aslo didn't know that that late a year Crown Vic had anything other than the Mod motors in them , I got a 96 here that needs a motor, I'm seriously contemplating sticking a spare 390 under it's hood Ought to be a real tire melter with the 3.27's out back

I've never seen a small block in any full size ford car after 90, but the 351 was optional in all teh 80 to 89 cars. It was just very rare to see one.
